Dedicated experience with Sourcing Hands, specializing in Furniture Design, I bring a wealth of expertise and creativity to the field. My journey spans more than 17+ years within the retail furniture design realm, with a notable tenure of a decade as a Senior Furniture Designer at Pottery Barn, a flagship brand under William Sonoma inc.
During my tenure, I led design and product development for various furniture collections, including Dining, Bedroom, Occasional, Home Office, Media, Storage, and Bath Lighting, where I consistently pushed the boundaries of innovation and aesthetics.
My passion for furniture design is not merely a profession but a lifelong commitment to excellence and creativity. With a proven track record of success with Sourcing hands and a deep understanding of market trends, we continue to shape the future of furniture design, blending functionality with elegance to create spaces that inspire and captivate.
Sourcing Hands is a service company, matching buyer sourcing requirements with reliable manufacturers and overseeing the full process from beginning to end.
We work on a pre-agreed percentage rate of commission, calculated on the FOB value of goods. This ensures transparency for the buyer.
Working direct with suppliers/manufacturer in Asia, often at a great distance from the head office, is immensely time consuming, expensive and often inefficient. Nothing is as effective as a physical presence in the factories and workshops. Production quality and delivery need monitoring on a regular basis. A Buying Agent is the eyes and ears of the buyer, acting on behalf of their company with the suppliers. It is, in effect, the local office of the buyer in India.
